Kakimori Nib Holder Black urushi

This exquisite pen handle made of Japanese cherry wood has been treated with black urushi lacquer in the traditional Japanese spirit. The nib holder has a plastic ring at the top, which enables the placement of various different nibs. The ring is of a standard size, which means that you can most likely combine the nib holder with any nib you might have.

Urushi lacquer comes from the urushi tree (Toxicodendron vernicifluum) – also known as Japanese lacquer tree.

Feel free to combine it with Kakimori's own nibs.

Although we recommend ink specifically designed for dip pens, it also works with regular fountain pen ink.
