Yuru Log is a series of notebooks designed to make daily journaling easy and enjoyable—completely free of pressure. By combining your favorite notebook with covers, stickers, and stamps, you can create a personal and colorful notebook that is just as fun to write in as it is to flip back through later.

Each notebook contains four different spreads with varying designs, providing variety and new illustrations as you turn the pages. The playful motifs make even short notes feel thoughtful and complete, helping you avoid the feeling of empty space.

The word yuru (緩) comes from Japanese and represents a gentler approach—both to everyday life and to the kind of perfectionism that can sometimes make it hard to simply begin.

This nostalgic design is based on an imaginary journey and a stay at a hotel, and is illustrated by Yuka Takamaru—known for her clear colors and soft, atmospheric style. The notebook is structured like a small story, inviting you to step into the role of a hotel guest.

The four spreads follow the stay through different settings: “The hotel and its surroundings (exterior),” “The hotel corridor,” “The guest room,” and “View from the balcony.” The cover is decorated with a map-like pattern of the area around the hotel and is printed on textured paper that gives a warm, natural feel in the hand.

The pages feature a subtle 5 mm dot grid pattern.
