The Japanese paper culture is so rich and varied that it can seem impossible to know where to start. Yamamoto's Paper Tasting series originates from this very problem, and their solution is as simple as it is ingenious – namely to address the issue the way wine enthusiasts have always done: with tasting!

This package contains three types of paper in three different sizes, each with 25 sheets each (so 75 sheets).

Monte Lukia (B7)

"Monte Lukia" has been produced at the Nippon Paper Ishinomaki Mill that was directly hit by the tsunami that followed the Great East Japan Earthquake. "Monte Lukia" is a "Kasadaka with micro coating" book paper. This is the unique bulking technology to produce well-texture coated paper that achieves low base weight yet high paper thickness.

b7 Natural (A6)

"b7 Natural" is a "Kasadaka with micro coating" book paper. It's said that the name "b7" was inspired by the chord sound "B7".

New Chiffon Cream (B6)

Light-cream colored book paper that is thick, light, and soft. Given that it is PH neutral, it does not discolor over time and has great archivability. It is great for writing, especially with ballpoints and fountain pens. Here at Yamamoto Paper, we use it in our RO-BIKI NOTE.
