Raymay's scissor Swingcut is quite brilliant. So brilliant that it actually won both the Good Design Award and ISOT's award in the functionality category. Why, you may be wondering? Unlike ordinary scissors, the pivot point of this scissor is not centered, but is located under the blades themselves. This increases the cutting strength, while at the same time pushing what you cut away from your hands. The scissors also have padding where the handles meet, which makes the cutting feel softer while at the same time making it sound less. The blades are placed in a way that is suitable for right-handed people, but due to it's preciseness it can be used without problems even by left-handed people.

The blades are surface-treated twice to reduce notches and scratches.

The scissors come in three different designs:

Standard: stainless steel.

Flourine coating: prevents the scissors from sticking together when cutting tape or labels.

Titanium coating: increases the life of the blades threefold. Excellent when cutting cardboard.
