Midori MD Notebook [A6] Blank Artist Collaboration Mateusz Urbanowicz 15th Anniversary [Limited Edition]

To celebrate MD's 15th anniversary, the MD team invited Mateusz Urbanowicz and 14 other artists to unleash their creativity. They then created special editions of their MD Notebooks with the artists' illustrations embossed on the covers.

Mateusz Urbanowicz

Mateusz is a Polish-born, Japan-based illustrator. He used to work for anime production company Comix Wave Films, where he worked on background art for many works, including Your Name. In 2017, he struck out on his own, publishing long-selling artwork collections such as Tokyo Storefronts and Tokyo at Night. His works have garnered many fans around the world.

About his artwork for Midori MD, Mateusz shares: "I use sketchbooks and notebooks every day to memorize interesting elements of everyday spaces and as a free creation ground for almost all my drawings and paintings. All my art starts from a rough squiggle on a page."
