Midori MD Notebook [A6] Blank Artist Collaboration Charlene Man 15th Anniversary [Limited Edition]

To celebrate MD's 15th anniversary, the MD team invited Charlene Man and 14 other artists to unleash their creativity. They then created special editions of their MD Notebooks with the artists' illustrations embossed on the covers.

Charlene Man

Charlene is a Hong Kong-born illustrator based in London and Hong Kong. The simple compositions and fun colors of her works appeal to people of all ages and cultures. Her works are infused with humor and the mix of cultures in her background, and you can see how much she enjoys being inspired by elements of everyday life.

About her artwork for Midori MD, Sharlene shares: "I wanted to create something that would invite people to interact with the notebook, pick it up and turn it around to noticed there’s a little humour in it with the phrase “You make me smile, when you say cheese” in hope of the audience will actually reach and say cheese. Inside pages is a piece of writing a did which inspired by the title. I often write in my own time but this is the first time I decided to show a piece of writing at an exhibition :)"
