Uni Kuru Toga Advance 0.5 mm Spirited Away

With an ordinary mechanical pencil, the lead wears only on one side, leading to a uneven tip. With Kuru Toga Advance, Uni has – in a true Japanese fashion – managed to remedy this by creating a rotating system that spins the lead every time the pen is lifted from the paper. This causes the lead to wear evenly from all directions.

The Advance model rotates the lead at twice as often as the previous model, and parts of the mechanics are, unlike before, made of metal.

This pen has a motif inspired by the very popular Japanese anime Spirited Away. Also available in several other designs.
