Staedtler Pencil Holder

Wow, what is this?! A German brand that has somehow found its way into this Japan-dominant stationery store? Hold the horses - this ingenious product is still typically Japanese in both heart and soul. So Japanese, in fact, that it's actually made there and fairly exclusive to the Japanese market.

Staedtler's pencil holder allows you to use the entire pencil. The holder can swallow almost 8 cm, so that you get a comfortable length on your pen even if you have a lot left of the pen. If you use several pencils with different hardnesses, you can easily tell them apart by turning the indicator to the correct firmness (see picture 4). At the far end of the holder there is also an eraser that can be replaced.

A tip is to turn the pencil over when carrying it in your pen case, so that the tip points inwards.
