Pilot Custom 823 Amber Brown

Pilot Custom 823 is a newcomer to the Custom series, and has now become one of Pilot's flagships. The nib is in 14k gold and the amber brown body together with the gold details gives the pen a sophisticated look. The slightly transparent body also gives the pen a modern feel, while at the same time allows you to see how much ink there's left.

With its generous size, it is just as easy to write with Custom 823 both with and without the cap posted. The pen is refilled through a kind of vacuum mechanism, that swallows a huge amount of ink.

Note that Japanese fountain pen nibs write thinner lines than their European counterparts.
