This ink, produced by Japanese Takeda Jimuki - also known as TAG - is produced in Kyoto. The city has not only given the ink its name, but also through its culture and landscape inspired the color choices. Nurebairo roughly translates to "the color of a crow's wet feathers", and is often used to describe the color of a woman's hair. Water based.
