Kokuyo Field Sketch Book

Kokuyo's Sketch Book seem quite unassuming, but in reality, it's a Japanese cult classic from 1959.

With its 165 x 95 mm, the book is both thin and small, and perfect to have in your jacket pocket. The paper quality is - as with many Japanese made notebooks - excellent, and can handle fountain pens with ease.

In Japan, this type of notebook is called Sokuryo (mapping) Yacho (field notebook), and was initially manufactured to make it easier for engineers when they needed to take measurements in the field.
