Kokuyo's Campus Series is immensely popular with Japanese students. Add to that the fact that Japanese students generally value notebooks far higher than us in the West, and you get a fair idea of how popular these are. Despite the affordable price, the Campus series consists of archival acid-free paper, which can easily handle fountain pens. The notebook is glued.
The pages are gridded (5 mm). Every other row is in a dotted line, and every other in a solid line (see the third image for clarification).
