Midori MD Notebook [A6] Blank Artist Collaboration COOKIEBOY 15th Anniversary [Limited Edition]

To celebrate MD's 15th anniversary, the MD team invited COOKIEBOY and 14 other artists to unleash their creativity. They then created special editions of their MD Notebooks with the artists' illustrations embossed on the covers.

COOKIEBOY

COOKIEBOY is a Tokyo-based artist. Cookies are the canvas for this icing artist — his works are a treat for the eyes and taste buds alike, making art a part of people's daily lives. The inspiration for his career came from his friend's reaction to some artistic cookies he made as an anniversary present — his friend's face apparently lit up like a child's.

About his artwork for Midori MD, COOKIEBOY shares: "I bake a cake or cookies every day. I'm always thinking about who I can gift them to. People's birthdays only come once a year, so I want them to be special. Food is impermanent by definition, so I want to make sure people are left with great memories. That's the kind of experience I want my notebook to be."
